ALL IN Relational Ministry – Adults

FIVE MINUTES – to tell you all about it!

Bring a trainer to your church! DOWNLOAD FLYER

Traditionally, the church does a great job answering the WHATs and WHYs of faith.
ALL IN adds the HOWs—practical relational skills that help people live their faith every day.

It’s more than a one-time event. ALL IN begins with a training experience and launches an ongoing commitment to equip and encourage every member to live out their faith in every relationship.

Through listening, caring, and welcoming, relational connections become ministry connections—real opportunities to love every neighbor, both inside and outside the church.

THE MANUAL

Manual Sessions

Doable, Livable, Repeatable Skills

  • WHEAT
By popular demand! Pilot groups insisted, “If it’s from Peer Ministry Leadership, you have to include WHEAT!” This powerful, simple tool helps people connect deeply and quickly. Paired with the Good Samaritan story, it’s the perfect introduction and foundation for ALL IN Relational Ministry.
  • Faith Circled
Discover your God-given purpose in life, ministry, and church. Reflect on how your faith has been shaped by real people—those who mentored, modeled, and walked with you. Learn the relational skills to do the same for others.
  • Hearing Hearts
Ministry isn’t always about speaking—it’s about listening. Faithful listening to others’ joys, stresses, and sorrows can bring strength and healing. In this session, learn deep, practical listening skills.
  • Difficult Choices
People around us face real struggles. You want to help—but how? Avoid quick-fix advice and learn how to guide others toward meaningful, lasting solutions through relational support.
  • Spirit Nudges
Ministry starts by noticing. What caught your attention this week—something you saw, heard, or felt? Learn how to respond to those Spirit nudges with confidence and compassion.
  • Affirming
This faith practice can change the world, one person at a time. When we affirm the good in others, we build trust, connection, and healing. Learn how to be intentional about building people up rather than tearing them down.

ALL ABOUT ALL IN

WHO IS THIS FOR?

People in your congregation:

  • As the title, ALL IN, suggests we believe every adult in your congregation can learn and enhance relational skills that will get used in all relationships and in all aspects of life!
  • We suggest you begin with two or three people from every program and leadership group in your church.
  • We suggest everyone on your staff.
  • Be sure to include leaders for evangelism and outreach committee members.
  • Anyone and everyone who wants to come!

One strategy is to have a couple people from every group in your church represented. In this way you have people who can lead various elements for devotions, teach various skills, and have follow-up conversations about how people are using the skills in caring for others.

WHY TRAINING?

Learn it. Live it. Then teach it!

Learning and enhancing skills requires heart-to-heart, face-to-face, person-to-person practice. People know when you are only teaching from a manual. You have to teach this from experiences from your life!
